Chenee Gilbert, Ed.D., Ed.S.

Dr. Gilbert resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and has more than 20 years of educational experience ranging from K-8, undergraduate, and graduate-level teaching. Since she is a teacher at heart, her primary research interests have included employee training and development as well as strategies designed to enhance teacher preparation programs and areas of curriculum and social and emotional strategies for at-risk youth.
Dr. Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Florida A & M University. She earned a master’s degree in Adult Education at Central Michigan University. Additionally, Dr. Gilbert has earned a specialist degree in Curriculum Instruction and Management and doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Gilbert is the mother of one son. She enjoys traveling, writing, and publishing children and YA books centered around the topic of grief and social /emotional topics. In her spare time, Dr. Gilbert volunteers with organizations that cater to grieving youth.
